Digital PCB Designer
From what a volt is to a fabricated, brought-up, reviewed board.
The core track. It starts at charge and current and ends with you releasing a manufactured four-layer digital board with a documented bring-up, an errata list and a design review behind it. Every skill produces an artifact; by the end you have a portfolio of around thirty pieces of evidence rather than a certificate.
What you can do at the end
- Take a digital board from requirements to a released manufacturing data package on your own.
- Justify every component choice from guaranteed datasheet numbers, not typical values.
- Design a stackup, place and route to a real fabricator's capability, and reach zero DRC errors including schematic parity.
- Compute a timing budget, a PDN target impedance, a thermal junction temperature and a current-carrying trace width, without being told to.
- Bring a new board up from unpowered to fully verified, and diagnose faults to a root cause.
- Give and receive a design review that finds real problems.
Electrical foundations
Build the quantitative habits everything else depends on: predict before you measure, and always check power and rating.

Bench practice
Get hands on instruments and on solder. You cannot design what you cannot measure or assemble.

Prove it
A design is not finished when it is routed. It is finished when a real board has been brought up and reviewed.
